Armando Cerna Elementary received an $800 check from McDonalds as a part of the restaurant’s McTeacher Night. 

The elementary school was represented by every grade level president and student council members. 

Present to accept the award were second grade teacher Ms. Garcia, third grade teacher Mr. De La Cruz, McDonalds Store Manager Angie Elizondo, first grade teacher Ms. Cortez, fourth grade teacher Ms. Kancheff, fifth grade teacher Ms. Dunn, and sixth grade teacher Ms. Montalvo. Center: Instructional Officer Mr. Leija, Principal Sandra Lopez, Mr. Hernandez from McDonalds, and student council  officers.

"I’d like to thank all the parents who supported us and all the students who ensured it to be a wonderful success. We’re looking forward to adding to our accelerated reader fund for prizes for our students for continuing education here at Armando Cerna Elementary.”
